Magnolia Environmental Solutions, based in Mississippi, has completed the acquisition of Advantage E-Cycling, a Pearl, Miss.-based electronics recycling company. Magnolia, a subsidiary of Magnolia Data Solutions LLC, says the deal will strengthen the company’s position as a leader in the recycling of electronic scrap and on-site shredding services.
“This acquisition complements our current operations and industry relationships," says Christopher Lumaghini, president of Magnolia Data Solutions. "Together, our companies will have enhanced resources to compete aggressively in the southeastern United States market, while also allowing us to better serve our clients with increased support staff, fleet lines and processing equipment."

Magnolia says it is the only R2 (Responsible Recycling Practices) certified electronics recycler operating in Mississippi. Magnolia Data Solutions serves Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Texas and Arkansas.
The acquisition, completed Sept. 20, 2013, also strengthens Magnolia’s market coverage in the state. “It is a good fit. It will create market share as we acquire their clients,” says Barrett White, a spokesman for Magnolia.
