Tonganoxie, Kan.-based Magnatech has introduced the Rapid Response Team and the Shredder911 service hotline, resources designed to provide scrap yard operators with support and on-site troubleshooting for automobile shredders.
Developed to help with breakdowns, parts availability and maintenance questions for any major brand of shredder, the Magnatech Rapid Response Team (MRRT) is a phone call away on the Shredder/911
line, according to the company.
“We’ve heard of operators being effectively put out of business for weeks or even months at a time after a shredder breakdown, so our Magnatech Rapid Response Team is literally available on a few hours’ notice to diagnose problems and handle shredder repairs,” says Michael Graveman, Magnatech president.
“When your livelihood depends on your shredder, we understand how important it is to have an emergency help line like our new Shredder911 service, and a dedicated, knowledgeable support team to aid with troubleshooting and repairs,” he adds.
The MRRT can be reached by phoning 913-845-3553, extension 911.
