Macon Iron & Paper Stock Co. and SP Recycling Corp. announce the roll out of a new single stream recycling program for the middle Georgia area. With this partnership, Macon Iron & SP Recycling Corp. will provide communities the opportunity to start new recycling programs and to enhance existing programs in the Middle Georgia area.
"We are excited about this announcement and encouraged by the strong private sector support we have seen for the development of these collection centers. With this announcement, the Department of Community Affairs will work closely with the communities within the Macon Iron service area to support their efforts to increase recycling rates in the region" said Mike Beatty, DCA Commissioner.
