CW Recycling Machinery Sales Ltd., a Lancashire, UK-based company, changed its name to UNTEC UK Ltd to further ally themselves to its main suppliers UNTHA Shredders of Austria.
According to Joe Hoyle, technical manager of UNTEC UK, “UNTHA shredders are our core business and we intend to concentrate 100 percent on the sales and service side of our business. We will no longer be representing the other companies from our portfolio and are not looking for additions to it, although we have received many offers from companies seeking our representation, we feel none quite live up to the expectations we have after dealing with UNTHA for the past six years”.
CW Recycling was formed in 1995 to buy and sell recycling machinery, but after being approached by UNTHA Shredders in 1996 it was decided to concentrate on dealing as agents for a small portfolio of European machinery manufacturers. Of these the UNTHA quickly became the flagship of the company.
A new web site, www.untec.co.uk has been built to be launched coinciding with the name change to promote the differing ranges and allowing companies to contact.
