Lubo Systems BV has developed a new product called the Papermagnet that it claims can boost the overall recovery of material in material recovery facilities (MRFs).
The Papermagnet, a conveyor belt running at an incline with holes beneath where suction is applied, can be placed in a material recovery facility (MRF) after the glass breaker, the wind shifter and the star screen.
The Papermagnet aids in the removal of paper and plastic film. It is available in different lengths and widths, which determine its capacity.
Lubo has applied for a patent on the Papermagnet.
Lubo Systems, based in Emmen, The Netherlands, is part of Bollegraaf Netherlands Holding. The company's equipment is distributed by Van Dyk Baler Corp., Stamford, Conn., in North America.
