LTR Products, a subsidiary of Liberty Tire Recycling, Pittsburgh, is introducing Pinnacle Rubber Mulch, an alternative to wood mulch. The mulch comes from tires that Liberty Tire shreds.
“Pinnacle Rubber Mulch not only saves trees from the shredder, but provides an outlet for the millions of scrap tires that Liberty Tire Recycling collects and processes annually,” said Brad Pittam, GM of LTR Products.
The mulch is resistant to wind and water erosion, bug and rodent infestation, fading caused by sunlight, and decomposition. The rubber mulch, available in various colors, is available in a range of volumes, and is able to be delivered anywhere in the United States.
In addition to the products sold by LTR Products, Liberty Tire Recycling provides crumb rubber products.
