The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has ordered a landfill in northwest Shreveport, La., to shut down by late April, according to a report in the Shreveport Times (Shreveport, La.).
The DEQ denied the landfill operators a permit to accept construction and demolition debris and has given them 60 days to comply.
