Lone Star Disposal LP, Houston, has announced the opening of the Lone Star Recycling & Disposal Facility, a Type IV construction and demolition (C&D) landfill located in
The 192-acre site is permitted for 14.7 million cubic yards of material and has an estimated life of more than 30 years.
“This facility is strategically located in a prime growth corridor within close proximity to downtown. It will complement our existing roll-off and C&D recycling operations and provide us vertical integration. The landfill, along with the addition of another recycling facility opening in 2009, will allow increased operating efficiencies and enable us to better serve our customers and continued growth,” says Brett Sarver, president.
