Cascade Asset Management, a provider of full-service IT asset retirement solutions, has announced that it has been recognized as one of the best places to work in Madison, Wis., by Madison Magazine, WISC-TV’s Live at Five and Next Generation Consulting.
“We are honored to receive this recognition. It is a testament to Cascade’s unique commitment to the environment and its employees, which unifies our workforce in knowing that we are all working for something that is bigger than ourselves. We are all proud of the work we do,” Jennifer Peters, human resources manager at Cascades, says.
As noted by Madison Magazine, at Cascade “trust and management go hand in hand, particularly in terms of transparency. Effective managers are open and accessible, and they model the work ethic they expect of their own employees.”
Winners of the 2008 "Best Places to Work" recognition were selected through an extensive assessment process. Next Generation Consulting developed an employee-engagement framework where employees were surveyed in six areas of engagement, including trust, management, development, rewards, connection and life-work balance. This year’s winners were chosen because they ranked the highest, over 85 percent, in all six dimensions of employee engagement.
Cascade shares this year’s honor with six other Madison-area companies, including HospiceCare Inc.,Wollersheim Winery, Steve Brown Apartments, Creative Marketing Specialists, Physicians Plus Insurance and Rejuvination Spa.
