A one-day workshop being offered by the London Metal Exchange (LME) is being billed by the organization as “comprehensive course to enhance [an attendee’s] knowledge of the physical trading of metals and warehousing.”

According to the LME, the course “will use practical examples, case studies and workshops to provide an insight into the various steps of trading, including defining a physical contract, shipping and warehousing, types of documentation, final payment, claims and settlements.
Targeted attendees for the July 12 event, which costs £500 ($990) plus VAT, include individuals involved in trading, supply chain, banking, shipping, warehousing and back office functions.
