LKQ Purchases Two Auto Parts Businesses

Company pays $13.7 million for companies.

LKQ Corp. announced that it has acquired two businesses that provide collision automotive replacement parts. The two purchases cost $13.7 million.

The two companies purchased are Pennsylvania-based Independent Auto Parts and Arkansas-based Mid-State Aftermarket Parts. The two companies generated 2004 revenue of about $16.6 million.

 

LKQ said the two business have a combined six locations, and serve customers in Arkansas as well as Tulsa, Memphis, central Pennsylvania and southeastern New York state.
