LKQ Corp. has acquired A&R Auto Parts, Inc., a privately held company that operates a recycled OEM automotive replacement parts facility.
A&R is located in Duncan, SC, between Spartanburg and Greenville. The company services the greater Spartanburg and Greenville markets and provide a strategic link within LKQ's network of recycled parts facilities.
"Our investment in A&R expands our recycled operations in the southeastern states and vastly increases the inventory available to our customers in the Mid-Atlantic region," said Joe Holsten, LKQ's president and CEO.
LKQ Corp. is the largest nationwide provider of recycled OEM automotive replacement parts and related services, with 46 sales and processing facilities, 8 self-service retail automotive parts facilities and 12 redistribution centers that reach most major markets in the United States. In addition, 3 facilities are located in Central America.
