LiuGong debuts equipment at WasteExpo 2025

LiuGong Construction Machinery North America LLC, a manufacturer of material handling equipment with North American headquarters in Katy, Texas, launched two machines at WasteExpo in Las Vegas earlier this month, the 856HE MAX Electric Wheel Loader and 922FE Electric Excavator. The company says these machines mark a step forward in sustainable waste handling solutions by reducing emissions.

The 856HE and 922FE are built to outperform, outlast and outdeliver diesel-powered machines while offering an unparalleled return on investment.”

The 856HE MAX Electric Wheel Loader is ideal for waste transfer stations, recycling facilities and demolition sites. LiuGong says the machine offers cost saving benefits, including the elimination of fuel costs and minimal maintenance, reducing lifetime expenses by up to 40 percent.

The 423-kilowatt-hour battery powers 8-12 hours of runtime and a 25-mile per hour travel speed, charging from zero to 100 percent in less than 2 hours, according to LiuGong.

The cabin noise level reaches 59 A-weighted decibels, featuring ergonomic controls and panoramic visibility.

The 922FE Electric Excavator made its North American debut at WasteExpo. It features similar cost-saving benefits to the 856HE MAX Electric Wheel Loader, with a 423-kilowatt-hour battery offering 8-10 hours of runtime and 90-minute charging.

It boasts a 22-foot dig depth, real-time analytics via an interactive monitor, a 69 A-weighted decibel cabin, vibration-free operations and hydraulics. The company says both machines feature corrosion-resistant components.

LiuGong says each machine includes up to $150,000 in tax credits, grants and rebates and are fully compliant with the California Air Resources Board (CARB), European Union Stage V emissions standards and other global environmental regulations.

Prior to debuting at WasteExpo, LiuGong previously delivered the machines to companies across multiple continents, including Asia, Europe, South America and North America.
