Austria-based Lindner Recyclingtech GmbH says it intends to showcase its latest product innovations in shredding technology at the IFAT trade fair, taking place May 4-7, 2026, in Munich, Germany.

One model planned for display is a new Urraco Evo series twin-shaft shredder Lindner says has been specifically developed for demanding heavy-duty applications.

Urraco Evo shredders combine “impressive power, a quick-change function and Lindner’s proven shaft versatility,” says the company, calling the models ideal for processing scrap wood, plastics, aluminum and other discarded materials.

Lindner, which has United States operations based in Statesville, North Carolina, says another new product it will display in Munich is a fourth generation iteration of its Micromat series shredder.

“The heart of this series is a synchronous reluctance motor that achieves an energy efficiency class of IE6, offering more than 97 percent efficiency while using no rare earth metals,” states Lindner. (The IE energy consumption classification was introduced in the European Union in 2011.)

The new Micromat model’s multi-cut rotor enables flexible operation for the machine to handle a wide range of materials, says Lindner, including plastic scrap, wood, textiles and other materials, all while reducing maintenance effort and downtime “thanks to its rapid-change knife system.”

Lindner machines have been synonymous with reliable performance for nearly 80 years, even under the most demanding conditions and in some cases operating for more than 200,000 hours,” says Hubert Graf, the company’s head of service.

“The decisive factors that make this possible start with quality-assured manufacturing and continuous further development but also include professional maintenance, collaborative service and specific retrofitting and upgrade solutions along the entire life cycle,” he adds.
