German equipment manufacturer Lindemann Metal Recycling has launched the NxtCut Wing, a presswing shear the company says is designed to deliver exceptional flexibility, high throughput and intelligent performance for demanding scrap operations.
The company says the new shear, which now is available for order through its global sales network, features a robust welded frame, a selectable cutting force of 800 or 1,000 tons and available bed lengths of 6.2 or 8 meters, adding that the NxtCut Wing is engineered for performance under pressure and ideally is suited for small to midsized facilities with changing material flows.
“This isn’t just an evolution of our NxtCut series—it’s a leap forward,” says Dr. Krischan Wolters, product manager and developer at Lindemann. “The NxtCut Wing delivers serious power, built-in intelligence and a level of durability that’s made for real-world scrap processing.”
According to Lindemann, additional features include:
- a wing-type compression system for maximum throughput up to 38 tons per hour;
- Lindemann’s 400-bar hydraulic system for the highest efficiency and minimal oil use;
- an overstroke function for optimized material compaction;
- a forged blade table and hardened supports for long-lasting precision;
- replaceable wear plates in all critical zones;
- maintenance-friendly guides with low-friction components; and
- remote diagnostics and Industry 4.0 integration via the myLindemann platform.
Lindemann says the NxtCut Wing also includes automatic cutting modes for different scrap types, real-time system monitoring through integrated linear and laser sensors and a wireless remote control with display for intuitive, safe operation.
The manufacturer’s digital platform, myLindemann, gives users full transparency on machine performance, health status and production data, it says, enabling data-driven maintenance and reducing downtime.
“This new machine is the perfect fit for operators looking to maximize output, minimize wear and meet future challenges with confidence,” Lindemann says.
