LifeSpan to Receive Excellence in Business Award

LifeSpan Technology Recycling will receive its award at the Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Awards Luncheon slated for May 12.

LifeSpan Technology Recycling, Wellesley, Mass., a managed services company that provides electronic asset retirement services to corporations, municipalities and not-for profit organizations nationwide, will be recognized by the Omaha Chamber of Commerce with an Excellence in Business Award at the Chamber’s upcoming Omaha 25 Awards Luncheon, Tuesday, May 12.

The award recognizes local Omaha companies with an operating history of at least five years, positive revenue and payroll growth over the last three years, and demonstrated excellence in business practices. LifeSpan was chosen because of its sales and payroll growth as well as its leadership in environmental stewardship and data privacy, according to the press release.

Awards are presented in several categories and the recipients are selected from nominations of chamber members.

“We are delighted to be recognized by the Omaha Chamber of Commerce” says LifeSpan president Dag Adamson. “Our operations in Omaha are a critical component of LifeSpan’s national network of electronics recycling facilities.”

“The Omaha 25 Awards recognize companies like LifeSpan that have demonstrated excellence in their business practices,” says David G. Brown, president and CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber. “One of the things the Chamber enjoys most is acknowledging and celebrating the success of our members.”
