LifeSpan Technology Recycling, based in Newton, Mass., has hired Paula Ross as Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEH&S) manager. Ross will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of LifeSpan’s QEH&S Management System, as well as ensuring compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Ross possesses more than 20 years of experience in the areas of environmental regulation and compliance, safety and industrial hygiene.
In a release announcing the appointment, Dag Adamson, president of LifeSpan, says, “We are extremely pleased by the addition of Paula to the LifeSpan team. She brings a wealth of both private and public sector experience that will further bolster our commitment to excellence in all aspects of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety. Paula will lead our current initiative to achieve RIOS, R2, and ISO 14001 certification, which we expect to complete by the end of the third quarter of this year.”
