Leigh Delaware Holdings, the parent company of Leigh Fibers, Wellford, South Carolina, and ICE Recycling, Lake City, South Carolina, has announced the launch of its newest company, SmartVista LLC, Wellford, South Carolina.
SmartVista is based on the business premise that new products and engineered solutions can be developed by repurposing materials that would otherwise be sent to landfills.
Presently, the company’s first products are focused on sorbents for spill remediation. New products and services will be integrated into a wide range of other new applications.
Don Bockoven, president and CEO of the sister companies stated, “We are excited about the opportunity to continue to expand our influence in the world of sustainable solutions based on our rich heritage in this space. SmartVista will allow us the opportunity to provide new products and solutions in markets beyond textiles and manufacturing.”
Leigh Fibers, Ice Recycling and SmartVista are operated as sister companies each focusing on sustainable strategies and solutions that create a greener environment. Leigh Delaware Holdings is owned by the Lehner family of Boston.
