Lefort North America, the U.S. subsidiary of Belgium-based equipment manufacturer Lefort Group, has continued what it says is “strategic growth” by adding members to two of its southern sales regions.

Jansen
Tom Jansen joins Lefort North America as regional sales manager for its South-Central region, covering Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado.
Jansen began his career in his home state of Iowa and joins Lefort with more than 20 years in the recycling equipment industry.
“He comes to us with knowledge of logger-balers, shear balers, gondola trailers, mobile shears, two-ram balers, material handlers, side squeeze shears and various other tools required for success in the recycling industry,” Lefort North America says in a news release.
The company also says Jansen dedicates his time to getting to know customers and their specific needs and goals and focuses on offering “straightforward perspectives and solutions customers can trust.”
“It is a rewarding experience to offer guidance and build trust that helps customers achieve success and satisfaction,” Jansen says.
Lefort North America also has added Trey Huntsinger as regional sales manager for the Southeast region, covering Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia and Maryland.
“Trey brings valuable expertise to support the company’s growth across North America,” the company says.

Huntsinger was raised in South Carolina and has worked in the metals recycling industry since 2015, primarily in Georgia and the Carolinas, where he has sold various types of equipment, including material handlers, mobile shears, high-reach equipment, auto dismantlers and, most recently, Lefort shear balers as a sales representative for Summerville, South Carolina-based Kuhn Equipment.
“My goal is to always treat my customers as family,” Huntsinger says. “That family mentality is a big reason I wanted to join Lefort. Being a family-owned company, you can feel that in the culture. I believe in the product but, most importantly, I believe in the people behind the machine.
