Lefort America expands team

The equipment company has added a number of hires to its sales and marketing team.

West Palm Beach, Florida-based Lefort America, a division of the Gosselies, Belgium-based Lefort Group, has announced a number of new hires to its sales and marketing team.

Darrus Wagner, based in New Jersey, has been named the regional sales/dealer support manager for the Northeast region. Wagner has previous experience working for One Steel and Stonerock Shipping.

“Working for Lefort is an opportunity to offer the industry a product they deserve while being supported by the most reliable service network available, Caterpillar,” Wagner says.

Jesse Nasianceno, based in Florida, has become the regional sales/dealer support manager for the Southeast region. He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and has worked with Harris, Marathon Equipment and Imabe Balers.

“With Lefort’s well-respected reputation and Caterpillar’s trusted name in the industry, I knew I wanted to be a part of this team as we grow in the North American and Caribbean market,” Nasianceno says.  

David Proler, based in Texas, serves as the regional sales/dealer support manager for the Southwest region. Proler has 28 years of experience in the industry and comes from a family that is well-known in the metal recycling industry. He previously worked for Proler International and Sims Metal Management. 

Proler says, “I'm excited to continue in the industry and promote the state of the art Lefort product line.”

Jeff Kurtz, based in Illinois, has been named regional sales/dealer support manager for the Midwest region. He has worked in various capacities with Caterpillar Inc. for the past 17 years.

“I joined Lefort to continue my role in sales and support and to assist with the growth and development of the Caterpillar dealer network.”

Serge Paradis, based in Florida, has been hired as the logistics and sales coordinator for the U.S. and Canada. He has more 30 years of experience in heavy equipment and logistics. Paradis coordinates all international and domestic shipping and ground transportation for the company. He also is responsible for all Canadian based prospects and customers.

“As soon as I saw the machine’s quality, I knew I wanted to be a part of the Lefort team to help grow the U.S. and Canadian markets,” Paradis says.

Christopher Pugh, based in Florida, is the company’s new product support manager for the Lefort product line and is responsible for all technical support, parts and commissioning of new installations. He comes from the Lefort factory in Belgium and has 10 years of technical and support experience.

Steve Weinberg, based in Florida, has been appointed as the national director of sales and marketing. He is responsible for developing and managing the regional sales force and digital and social marketing initiatives. Weinberg has more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing.
