LDK Solar Co. Ltd., a Xinyu City, China-based manufacturer of multi-crystalline solar wafers, has become a member of PV CYCLE, an organization based in Brussels that promotes the take-back and recycling of end-of-life PV (photovoltaic) modules.
“LDK Solar is dedicated to sustainable practices that take into consideration the environmental impact of all stages of product life cycle, including end-of-life collection and recycling,” says Xiaofeng Peng, chairman and CEO of LDK Solar. “We look forward to contributing to the development of new standards of sustainability with fellow members of PV CYCLE.”
