Companhia Vale do Rio Doce will become the exclusive supplier of iron ore and pellets to ACESITA, Latin America's largest steel maker, in a 10-year contract that comes into effect Sept. 1 and runs to Sept. 30, 2011. The contract is for 646,000 metric tons per year of blast furnace pellets, and 484,000 metric tons of lump ores annually. Bridge News
