Landmark Services Does Good Work While Doing Good Work

Company boosts its document shredding services while helping disabled workers.

Landmark Services, in association with Goodwill of Orange County, Calif., is touting its success in offering superior document destruction services to local businesses, while employing adults with disabilities to work at the same time. The company claims they are the only company in Orange County that accomplishes both.

Landmark Services was created by Goodwill of Orange County to perform document destruction services.

“It is a legal requirement that most company documents are properly disposed, and without proper disposal, proprietary information ends up in the dumpster where it is readily, and legally, available to anyone,” said Dan Rogers, president and CEO of Goodwill of Orange County.

Landmark Services shreds documents to a 5/16-inch IRS-approved standard. The company also provides the following: all employees are subject to federal background checks; pricing for the service by the pound, rather than by the job; and the company’s facility is equipped with 24-hour video surveillance, computerized inventory control, and security personnel; and the company provides a certificate of destruction to go along with monthly billing.
