Bobby Kripke has announced the formation of Sherwin Metal Recycling, a wholesaler and broker of nonferrous scrap metals.
The company will launch Aug. 2 in Toledo, Ohio. Sherwin will share space at a 100,000-square-foot warehouse and 5,000-square-foot office facility operated by another area metals company.
Bobby Kripke has 37 years of experience in the scrap industry with family-held companies and their successors, including OmniSource Corp.
“I am especially proud that I could reclaim our original name in honor of my father, Sherwin Kripke, who was a pioneer in the scrap industry for over 50 years,” Bobby Kripke says.
