Nini Krever of Traders International Corp., Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., has been named as the second recipient of the Phil Alpert Award.
The award is presented by the Paper Stock Industries (PSI) chapter of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI), Washington, “to someone who has shown outstanding leadership, dedication and commitment to the PSI chapter of ISRI and to the scrap paper industry for a minimum of 10 years.”
It is named for former PSI president Phil Alpert, who died in November of 2001. Alpert was a long-time associate of National Fiber Supply Co., Chicago, and a PSI officer and active member throughout his career.
Krever was announced as this year’s Phil Alpert Award winner at the PSI Fall Meeting, which took place in late October in La Jolla, Calif.
She has been involved with PSI for much of her career, having spent the past several years in the chapter’s officer ranks as president, membership director and in other key posts.Latest from Recycling Today
