Kramer Metals Inc., a scrap metal recycling firm headquartered in Los Angeles, has hired scrap industry veteran Tammi Jones as general manager. She will be responsible for overseeing all operational and safety aspects of the company’s two scrap processing facilities in Los Angeles and will contribute to Kramer’s expansion activities. Jones comes to Kramer Metals from SA Recycling, where she worked for the past 23 years, most recently as general regional manager of the company’s Mid-City Iron & Metal and Commercial Filter Recycling operations.
“This is a big deal for our company,” says Doug Kramer, president of Kramer Metals. “Tammi fills an important position that we’ve had vacant for a long time, and I couldn’t be more pleased that she chose to join us.”
Kramer Metals Inc., which has been in business for more than 70 years, handles ferrous, nonferrous and high-temp alloy scrap.
