Kouei Industries has agreed in principal to license Kouei International Holdings rights to use Kouei technology in establishing a recycling facility for tires and automotive shredder resident, including plastics.
KIH, a Slovak-based company, is investing in the process, and expects to have the facility built in Slovakia by the end of this year.
The facility will help the country to comply with 2006 European Union legislation to resolve the issue of obsolete tires.
“We have chosen to partner with KIH because we see Slovakia as an excellent location for the establishment of Kouei technologies with direct access to the European Union markets,” sais Jesse Klinkhamer, KINA’s CEO.
