Komptech Reports Success at WasteExpo

Manufacturer makes first U.S. trade show appearance.

Komptech USA Inc., based in Denver, has reported that it enjoyed lively booth traffic at the 2007 WasteExpo in Atlanta in May, marking the company’s first appearance at a U.S. trade show.

The company, which offers a range of machines for treating solid waste, exhibited at the waste-disposal industry trade show for the first time.

Johannes Pohl, CEO of Komptech USA reports there was particular interest in single stream waste classifying and slow speed shredding, which he said was a good match for the company’s product line.

Komptech manufactures mobile and stationary equipment for the treatment of solid waste and biomass, including shredding, screening, separation and composting technology. Komptech USA Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Komptech GmbH, based in Frohnleiten, Austria.
