Kinshofer, a Burlington, Ontario-based manufacturer of attachments for cranes, excavators and backhoe loaders, has announced it now offers its CMX210 SmartFlow quick coupler and the X-Lock pin-grabber-style quick coupler, which are suitable for 18-to-21-ton excavators and are fully hydraulic.
Kinshofer presented the X-Lock and the CMX210 SmartFlow at the Bauma 2016 trade show in Munich, along with the KM 506 SmartFlow quick coupler for loader cranes.
The X-Lock also is equipped with a mechanical or electronic security indicator, which complies with the Euro standard EN474-1 and the future ISO 13031 safety standard, the company says.
The advantages of the CMX210 SmartFlow include:
- automatic locking;
- independent control of X-Lock safety knuckle or locking wedge;
- self-adjusting wedge;
- sensors on the locking wedge permit mechanical or electronic display of the locked state;
- less overall height in wedge-lock system;
- step-by-step control of the locking and unlocking function;
- fully adaptable and appropriate for all sizes of excavators;
- easy one-man operation; and
- protective cover for the hydraulic connections.
