The city of Alliance, Ohio, has authorized a new contract with Kimble Recycling & Disposal Inc., which the company says includes significant service enhancements. In August of 2017, Kimble says it will begin using automated collection vehicles to pick up refuse and recyclables. The new service is designed to make collection easier and safer, provide cleaner neighborhoods, increase the volume of recycling and stabilize long-term disposal costs, the company adds.
At the end of August, customers can anticipate the delivery of new 95-gallon carts for refuse and 65-gallon carts for recyclables. The cart delivery rollout will take several weeks to complete.
Any residence currently renting a 95-gallon Kimble trash cart will continue to use its existing cart with no further rental fees and will receive a new 65-gallon recycling cart.
