Olympic Steel’s board of directors has elected Dirk Kempthorne as a director, effective immediately. He also will serve on the board’s Nominating Committee.
Kempthorne has served as mayor of Boise, Idaho, as well as both a senator and a governor of the state of Idaho. He recently served as the secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Olympic Steel is a metals service center headquartered in Cleveland. The company operates 16 facilities throughout the United States.
