Kansas City, Mo., will serve as the host city of the 2002 Safety Summit, presented each year by the National Association of Demolition Contractors (NADC).
This year’s Summit will take place at the Kansas City Airport Marriott hotel October 10 and 11. It is the eighth summit presented by the NADC, based in Doylestown, Pa.
Admission to the one-and-a-half day summit is $200, according to the NADC, and will include breakfast and lunch on Thurs., Oct. 10, and breakfast the following day.
At the event, safety professionals will cover a number of important topics, including state and federal regulations, personal safety precautions, and hazardous waste/hazardous materials handling procedures at demolition sites.
