Kaiser Aluminum Corp. said it is raising prices on its flat-rolled sheet and plate products due to rising costs of metal and other items.
Kaiser said beginning Dec. 19, and all shipments after Feb. 14, 2004, the prices will be increased, regardless of order date.
Prices for all 6000-series products will rise by 10 cents a lb, and prices for all 2000-series and 7000-series products will go up by 5 percent, the company said, adding that all existing contracts will be honored.
