Kadant Black Clawson Inc., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., has received an order from Dongguan Nine Dragons Paper Industries Co. Ltd., for a complete stock preparation system. The primary components of the system include a DR Hydrapulper, a continuous Hydrapulper, Hydrapurge II-X detrasher, Liquid Cyclone high-density cleaners, coarse and fine screening loops utilizing Ultra-V pressure screens, a Float Purger stock cleaning system, UltraSorter reject processor, and a series of Cyclotech high-efficiency cleaners.
The equipment will be installed at Nine Dragons' new mill. It will process old corrugated containers at a rate of 1,400 metric tons per day to provide stock for the new linerboard machine at that location. The new mill will produce 450,000 metric tons per year of linerboard that will be used to supply the company's box plants. The new equipment is scheduled for installation and start-up this November.
In another order, Nine Dragons purchased two Hydrapulpers to be installed at their Dongguan City mill location. The machines will pulp waste paper to produce stock that will feed a new white-board paper machine being installed at the mill. Scheduled start-up for the pulpers is set for this October.
