Kadant Black Clawson Inc., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., received an order from Huhtamaki Food Service Inc., Hammond, Indiana, USA, for a pressure sreen and a Diabolofiner reject screen. The new equipment is being installed to upgrade the existing screening system and to improve product quality.
Huhtamaki has a capacity of 100 tons per day and processes ONP to produce molded products for the food service industry.
Installation of the CH and the Diabolofiner will allow the mill to screen at a higher consistency and increase the quality of the stock. Scheduled start-up of the new equipment is set for this December.
