J.P. Mascaro & Sons, Audubon, Pennsylvania, has been awarded municipal contracts in Pennsylvania’s Lower Merion, Montgomery County and Ridley Park, according to the Times Herald, Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.
Mascaro received a one-year contract in Lower Merion with options for three additional years. The company will be responsible for transporting single-stream recyclables from the township’s transfer station to the company’s TotalRecycle material recovery facility (MRF) in Exeter, Pennsylvania. Mascaro will then process and market the township’s recyclables.
The company also received a comprehensive waste collection contract from Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, valued at $800,000. Mascaro will provide weekly collection for trash removal, recycling and yard waste for a term of two years with a third-year option, the Times Herald reports.
J.P. Mascaro & Sons is a family-owned waste service company with facilities across eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
