Joint Venture Brings Electronics Recycling Services to India

Newport Computer Services of Rochester, N.H., has signed a joint venture with IL&FS Waste Management and Urban Services Ltd. (IWMUSL), a subsidiary of IL&FS India to provide what it is calling “an eco friendly, compliant and sustainable business model for the growing e-waste market in India.”

The joint venture combines the environmental management services and market positioning of IWMUSL in India with Newport’s intellectual capital and experience managing electronics recycling services in the United States.

In business since 1994, Newport Computer Services Inc. brings its experience in IT asset management, recovery, processing and disposal services.
