England-based JMC Recycling Systems introduces the Hippo 6140 scrap processors, which the company says offer a new level of product performance. The company says it is cost effective for even small metal processors as the Hippo is ideal for both ferrous and nonferrous material. Features include:
• Heavy construction and cutting on three sides of the loading box, which the company says makes it ideal for handling oversize material
• Exceptional cutting force allows the 6140 to work as a yard shear, which the company says effectively combines two pieces of machinery in a single, robust, unit
• Processors come complete with a sorting and loading table, as well as an elevated bale ramp and take away track for baled material.
• The unit can operate in a semi-automatic or manual mode.
