Jenks Metals LLC purchased the assets of Metals USA's Specialty Metals operation in Orlando, Fla., according to Jenks' president and CEO Lee Feiereisen.
The new operation, according to Bill Hollingsed, vice president and COO of Jenks Metals LLC, will supply carbon, alloy steel, aluminum, stainless steel and brass plate, sheet, bar, extrusions, pipe, tubing and other forms to customers in the southeastern United States.
Feiereisen had served as executive vice-president, Independent Metals, while Hollingsed was formerly vice president, Jenks Metals Inc., before both joined Metals USA in various capacities in the late nineties.
