U.K.-based JCB Inc. has begun construction on its first Chinese factory.
The construction equipment manufacturer, with its U.S. headquarters in Pooler, Ga., has acquired land in Pudong, an area south of Shanghai, which will become the company’s Chinese manufacturing headquarters. The products that will be manufactured there have not been determined yet.
