Teijin Ltd., a Japanese-based textile and chemical company, has developed an advanced technology for recycling PET plastic bottles.
The technology involves decomposing used plastic into substances with the same levels of purity as those of the chemical agents that have been newly synthesized from petroleum, company officials said.
