Edimet, an Italian publishing group, has announced that it is launching a scrap metal conference in 2006.
Metalriciclo will take place Sept. 14-16, 2006, at the Garda Exhibition Center in Brescia, Italy.
The inaugural conference will address a number of topics relevant to the scrap metal industry, including accident prevention and safety in the workplace, machinery and equipment, transport, handling, warehousing, logistics, treatment and processing, according to a press release from Edimet.
The conference is for car-breakers, scrap dealers, scrap processors, operators in waste disposal, collectors and recovers.
