The seminar is designed for scrap industry personnel who are involved in the daily operation of scrap facilities, according to the Washington-based organization.
Topics addressed during the event will include shredder maintenance and safety, hydraulic systems maintenance, safety and environmental compliance, yard design and management and metals identification.
Several industry equipment and service suppliers will also have exhibits set up, and there will be tours of local scrap recycling facilities available to Forum attendees.
