The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI) Pittsburgh Chapter is offering a combined networking, golf and educational event in late August at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in western Pennsylvania.
The 3,000-acre resort, built by 84 Lumber founder Joe Hardy III, will act as the host for a golf tournament, a Nickel-Stainless Roundtable program, a reception honoring scrap consumers, and guest speaking appearances by Joe Hardy and Representative Phil English, a Republican who represents Pennsylvania’s third congressional district.
The two-day event takes place Thursday, Aug. 28 and Friday, Aug. 29 at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pa. The schedule includes:
- Thurs., Aug. 28: lunch, golf tournament, cocktail reception (with vendor exhibits), dinner
- Fri., Aug. 29: breakfast, Nickel-Stainless Roundtable.
Speakers at the Friday morning Roundtable include Ed Newman of Keywell LLC, Albert Hardies of Inmetco, Greg McClain of General Moly Corp., Josie Ward of Reward Materials Inc., and Ed Kielty.
Commodities covered during the Roundtable will include stainless steel, nickel, titanium, ferro chrome, cobalt and molybdenum.
