The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI), Washington, is currently offering a six-month membership special for new members.
“This limited-time offer allows scrap recycling professionals an opportunity to have a trial membership in ISRI and to find out about all we offer to this industry,” says Amy Carey of ISRI’s Membership Department. “Current ISRI members are aware of the products and services that come with membership in the premier industry trade association. We’re inviting others to become a part of the ‘Voice of the Recycling Industry.’”
For half of the regular annual dues rate, those signing up for this offer will also receive ISRI member directories for 2004 and 2005, the ISRI Scrap Specifications Circular, discount coupons for publications and ISRI events worth $275, safety videos and CDs, ISRI’s Environmental Operating Guidelines Manual on CD, and subscriptions to ISRI’s print and electronic newsletters and magazine.
Members can also consult ISRI staff members on a variety of critical issues and use the customized arbitration assistance program, in addition to being eligible to participate in more than 60 national and local chapter events throughout the year.
Those seeking more information can call ISRI at (202) 737-1770 or visit the association’s Web site at www.isri.org.
