The Washington-based Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) says the deadline for attendees of the Sept. 22-24 ISRI 2021 Commodity Roundtables Forum to book a hotel room as part of its room block is Aug. 30.
ISRI says there is “still time to get registered, book your hotel room prior to the August 30 reservation deadline, and stay up to date on the latest local COVID-19 health and safety protocols.” The association also says it is “expecting strong attendance with numerous networking opportunities and important commodity market insights.”
City of Chicago COVID-19 health and safety protocols currently require the use of a mask indoors, according to ISRI. “While there is currently not a requirement to have the COVID-19 vaccine to attend the Roundtables, ISRI encourages participants to get vaccinated,” says the group.
“Please note that some bars and restaurants in Chicago are requiring proof of vaccine to enter, so please be sure to plan your trip accordingly,” ISRI adds. “We are regularly monitoring information from state and local health care officials and government sources and will provide updates should policies change.”
