The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI), Washington, has released some of its plans for this year’s Commodities Roundtable Forum, taking place at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare near Chicago Sept. 10-12, 2003.
The organization has chosen “In Search of Recovery” for the theme of the event, which will present, as it has in past years, speakers covering the copper, aluminum, steel, lead and zinc industries.
Sessions on those commodities will take place Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 10 and 11. Additionally, a Friday session will offers presentations on China as a scrap destination, with a special focus on electronic scrap.
For the second consecutive year, ISRI’s Chicago Chapter will present “Rumble at the Roundtable,” a program at the Hyatt featuring professional prizefights, dinner and cocktails, with proceeds benefiting the Chapter’s scholarship fund.
Additional information on Commodities Roundtable speakers and programming will be released as it is finalized, according to the organization. Some of that additional information will be posted at the group’s Web site, www.isri.org.
