The goal of the Reuse and Recycling Coalition is to collect PCs that are taken out of service on Earth Day in order to help the environment, protect data security, and bridge the digital divide. This includes erasing all the users’ data, using parts or systems that are reusable, and at the end of life maximizing the reuse of the PCs’ materials.
Member organizations include: ISRI, Microsoft, Intel, eBay, USEPA, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Compumentor—Home of Techsoup, Operation Homelink, National Cristina Foundation, Strut, and CTC.
