The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) Operations Forum will be hosting its 2007 Operations Forum Jan. 25-27 at the Sheraton Park Hotel,
The forum is designed for people who are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of scrap recycling facilities and allows participants to arrange an educational program that meets their individual needs, according to ISRI.
Registrants who attend all the required sessions in a specific track will receive a Certificate of Achievement at the end of the forum.
This year’s ISRI Operations Forum also includes tours Adams Steel and DBW Metals, two area scrap yards. Tours occur throughout the program and are geared to individual program tracks.
The forum also includes tabletop exhibits of industry products and services in the hospitality lounge. Companies interested in exhibiting should phone Lisa Ness at (910) 426-7400.
The advance registration fee of $795 for ISRI members and $995 for non-members is available through Jan. 4. On advance registrations, ISRI members can deduct 10 percent from the fee for each additional registrant from the same company. After Jan. 4, the fees become $845 for members and $1,045 for non-members.
