The Gulf Coast Chapter of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI) will be meeting Nov. 8 – Nov. 10 in Houston.
The Gulf Coast Chapter Winter Meeting will include a golf outing at the Wildcat Golf Club in Houston as well as meetings and receptions to be held at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Houston.
Several speakers will make presentations on their views of the current market, including:
- Bill Coster, vice president-investments of the A.G. Edwards & Sons Inc. office in Houston, on the metals markets
- Mile Sullivan, general manager of Abitibi-Consolidated Inc. in Houston, on scrap paper markets
- Bill Vincent, CEO of Colt Inc., Scott, La., on the scrap tire market
- Amy Strasser and Tom Tyler of ISRI’s Washington headquarters on the state of the association and its programs.
The Gulf Coast chapters committee and board will also meet during the three-day event.
